The Classified Catalog of Animal Pathogenic Microbes, which was adopted at the 10th executive meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture on May 13, 2005, is hereby promulgated and shall come into force as of the date of promulgation.

According to the provisions of Articles 7 and 8 of the Administrative Regulations on the Bio-safety of Pathogenic Microbe Laboratories, we hereby classify animal pathogenic microbes as follows:
I. Pathogenic Microbes in Category I
