To continuously optimize the business environment and implement further measures under the reform to "streamline administration, delegate powers, and improve regulation and services", the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) has decided to adjust the catalog of measuring instruments subject to mandatory management. The adjusted Catalog of Measuring Instruments subject to Mandatory Management (hereinafter referred to as the "Catalog") is now released.
I. Starting from the date of this Announcement, measuring instruments listed in the Catalog subject to the regulatory method of “model permit” (“P”) or “model permit and mandatory verification” (“P+V”) shall undergo the procedure for model permits or the procedure for models permits for imported measuring instruments, while other measuring instruments are no longer required to undergo such procedures.
