The Annex II to the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China: Method for the Formation of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Its Voting Procedures has been amended and approved at the 27th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress on March 30. The amended Annex II to the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China: Method for the Formation of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Its Voting Procedures is hereby issued and shall come into effect from March 31, 2021.

1. The Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) shall be composed of 90 members for each term.
