The Guiding Opinions on the Development of New-type Urbanization Supported by the Insurance Industry (hereinafter referred to as the "Guiding Opinions") are hereby printed and distributed. The relevant matters are notified as follows for compliance.
Article 1 Promote urbanization in a steady, secure, solid and disciplined manner, which carries important significance and profound historical importance for the comprehensive establishment of well-off economy, accelerate the progress of socialism and modernization development and realize the Chinese dream of rejuvenation. Serving new-type urbanization is a historical mission and important strategic opportunity of the insurance industry. All entities must attach great importance, learn conscientiously, profoundly understand the essence and practically implement the Guiding Opinions.
Article 2 All insurance regulatory bureaus shall integrate with the new-type urbanization of the locality, strengthen communication and coordination, pay attention to the actual circumstances of the locality, feature the characteristics and formulate the policy measures for implementing and serving the development of new-type urbanization. During 2015 to 2020, the implementation status shall be reported in January every year.
Article 3 All insurance institutions shall, according to the requirements of the Guiding Opinions, continuously strengthen reform and innovation, further raise the service capability and level, and make the necessary contributions to the development of new-type urbanization supported by the insurance industry.
