The administrations for industry and commerce in all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and separately planned cities,

According to the current China's patent regime, it is still difficult to verify the current legal status of a patent merely in reliance on the patent certificate issued by the China Patent Office. As a result, for the purposes of improving the supervision of advertisements for patents, eliminating false and illegal advertisements for patents as well as protecting consumers' legitimate rights, the requirements of issuing certificates of advertisements for patents are hereby announced as follows:
