Decision on the Revision of the Provisions on the Administration of Road Passenger Transport and Passenger Stations

The Decision on the Revision of the Provisions on the Administration of Road Passenger Transport and Passenger Stations, which was adopted at the 9th executive meeting of the Ministry of Transport on November 27, 2012, are hereby promulgated for implementation as of the date of promulgation.

Decision on the Revision of the Provisions on the Administration of Road Passenger Transport and Passenger Stations

The Ministry of Transport has decided to revise the Provisions on the Administration of Road Passenger Transport and Passenger Stations (Order of the Ministry of Transport [2012] No.2) as follows:

Article 1 Paragraph 1 of Article 62 shall be revised as: "A chartered passenger transport vehicle shall be operated upon the strength of a chartered passenger transport mark as issued by the road transport administrative organ and according to the stipulated time, starting place, destination and route, together with the charter bill or the charter contract, and may not be operated at fixed places and routes for regular vehicles, nor may it canvass any passenger other than those prescribed in the charter contract to get on the vehicle".
Paragraph 2 of Article 62 shall be revised as "Unless a chartered passenger transport vehicle carries out an urgent charter task as set forth by a road transport administrative organ, one end of a transport line shall be located at the place where the vehicle is registered.
