The industrial and commercial administrative authorities, the promotion departments of Chinese Communist Party Commission, the news offices of governments, the public security departments (bureaus), the supervision and inspection departments (bureaus), the morality rectification offices, the communication administrative bureaus, the hygiene departments (bureaus), the broadcast and film and telecommunication bureaus, the news and publication bureaus, the food and drug administrations (the drug administrations) and the traditional Chinese medicine administrations of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government,

Pre-release review of advertisements by advertisement operators is an important measure to ensure that the content of advertisements is authentic, legal and in compliance with socialistic cultural and ethical progress requirements and also a statutory obligation set out in advertisement laws and regulations. For the purposes of further improving advertisement review system, strengthening the awareness of supervising advertisement review, earnestly implementing public media's advertisement review duty, and preventing and minimizing the release of illegal advertisements to the largest extent, the ministerial joint conference member entities of special action to crack down false and illegal advertisements jointly formulated the Rules on Review of Advertisement Release by Public Media, which are hereby printed and distributed for your earnest implementation.

Rules on Review of Advertisement Release by Public Media

Pursuant to the requirements of the Advertisement Law of the People's Republic of China and other laws and regulations that advertisement publishers shall inspect certifications, verify the content of advertisements, establish and improve advertisement management system, these Rules are hereby formulated in order to further implement public media's duty to review advertisement release.
