Decision of Shanghai Municipal People's Government on the Revision of the Provisions of Shanghai Municipality on the Administration of Civilized Construction of Engineering Projects,adopted at the No.88th executive meeting of Shanghai Municipal Government on October 25, 2010, are hereby promulgated, effective as of November 1, 2010.
The Municipal People's Government has decided to make revisions on the Provisions of Shanghai Municipality on the Administration of Civilized Construction of Engineering Projects as follows:
I. Clause 2 of Article 4 is changed to:
The district/county construction administrative departments of this Municipality shall be responsible for the supervision and administration of civilized construction in their respective jurisdictions.
II. Clause 3 of Article 6 is changed to:
The municipal construction and communications administrative department shall, jointly with the municipal development and reform administrative department, and the municipal finance administrative department, set the specific standards on measures to be taken for civilized construction.
III. Clause 2 of Article 8 is changed to:
The constructor shall set forth in the construction organization plan and implement the specific measures for civilized construction, in compliance with the written proposals regarding the civilized construction put forward by the developer; where the specialized unit trusted by the construction organization or contractor enters the construction site to implement construction, the requirements for civilized construction clearly defined by the contractor shall be observed.
A clause is added as Clause 3 of Article 8:The contractor shall be equipped with full-time civilized construction management personnel to be responsible for superintendence and implementation of different measures in civilized construction on construction sites.
