Provisions of Dalian City on Regulating Collective Residential Registrations (Revised in 2003)

(Promulgated by the People's Government of Dalian City on December 21, 1990 in Document No. 150; amended in accordance with the Decisions of the People's Government of Dalian City on Amending Some Municipal Government Rules on March 10, 2003)

Article 1 In accordance with the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Household Registration and relevant provisions, the provisions are formulated with a view to reinforcing the administration of collective Residential Registration.

Article 2 All the units and individuals who take collective residential registrations within Dalian municipal administrative area shall abide by the provisions.

Article 3 Collective residential registrations refers to the residential registration that workers and staff, as well as students have permanent residence at the internal or collective dormitories of the government agencies, organizations, schools, enterprises and institutions, and also that soldiers not in active service have permanent residence at the military organs or soldiers' dormitories.

Article 4 The municipal and county (county-level municipal) public security bureau (sub-bureau) is the competent authority for administration of the collective residential registration in their respective administrative areas.
