The Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on the Revision of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics, adopted at the 31st Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress of the People's Republic of the China on December 29, 2007, is hereby promulgated and shall go into effect as of the date of promulgation.

At its 31st Meeting, the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress decided to make the following revisions to the Law of the People's Republic of China on Protection of Cultural Relics:
