Law of the People's Republic of China on the Organization of the State Council
(Adopted at the 5th session of the 5th National People's Congress on December 12, 1982 and promulgated for implementation by the Order of the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress No. 14 on December 10, 1982)
Article 1 This Law is formulated in accordance with the provisions concerning the State Council in the Constitution of the People's Republic of China.
Article 2 The State Council shall be composed of a Premier, Vice-Premiers, State Councilors, Ministers in charge of ministries, Ministers in charge of commissions, an Auditor-General and a Secretary-General.
The Premier shall assume overall responsibility for the work of the State Council.
