各省、自治区、直辖市及计划单列市工商行政管理局：
1999年，国家工商行政管理局、中国人民解放军总后勤部下发《关于严禁利用军队、武警部队名义从事经营活动的通知》（工商企字[1999]第88号，以下简称《通知》），要求各类企业，包括军队、武警部队移交和保留的企业，其名称中一律不准带有军队、武警部队番号、代号和“国防”、“八一”等特定含义字样；凡不符合规定的企业名称要立即停止使用，对已经登记注册的，要在1998年度的工商年检期内办理变更登记。
