State Council Released the Circular of the General Office of the State Council on Printing and Distributing the Scheme for Work Divisions of Key Departments Responsible for Establishment of a Compete and Advanced Waste and Old Commodity Recycling System

On April 26, the State Council promulgated the Circular of the General Office of the State Council on Printing and Distributing the Scheme for Work Divisions of Key Departments Responsible for Establishment of a Compete and Advanced Waste and Old Commodity Recycling System (the "Circular").

The Circular specifies that the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Industry, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection shall be responsible for exerting the function of the mechanism of market and increasing the rate of recycling of main waste and old commodities. Under the lead by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and other departments and institutions shall, through garbage classification and recycling and other means, carry out the recycling of key waste and old commodities effectively.
