State Council Issues Implementation Plan for Establishing a Comprehensive Evaluation System for Enterprise Credit Status

The General Office of the State Council has released the Implementation Plan for Establishing a Comprehensive Evaluation System for Enterprise Credit Status (the "Plan").

The Plan calls for establishing an institutional framework for a comprehensive evaluation system for enterprise credit status, giving full play to the foundational role of public credit evaluation results in such comprehensive evaluation, promoting the integration of public credit evaluation and market-oriented credit evaluation, and gradually forming a unified comprehensive evaluation system for enterprise credit status. According to the Plan, actions will be taken to improve the public credit evaluation system; unify public credit evaluation rules, industry credit evaluation management, and channels for the disclosure of public credit evaluation results; establish sound coordination mechanisms for industry credit evaluation; standardize the development of market-oriented credit evaluation; accelerate the integrated application of public and market-oriented credit evaluations; better leverage credit evaluation in supporting financing for medium, small, and micro enterprises; improve the mechanism for updating and adjusting evaluations after credit restoration; build smooth channels for handling objections and appeals; and implement the responsibilities for credit evaluation management.
