NEA to Promote Integrated and Coordinated Development of New Energy
Promulgation date: 2025-11-13 Chinese version
The National Energy Administration (NEA) recently released the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Integrated and Coordinated Development of New Energy (the "Opinions").

The Opinions envision that, by 2030, integrated and coordinated development will become a key approach to the development of new energy, there will be a remarkable improvement in the reliability of new energy substitution, and its market competitiveness will be significantly enhanced. The Opinions categorize the integrated and coordinated development of new energy into three main areas: (1) multidimensional integrated development of new energy; (2) coordinated development of new energy with multiple industries; and (3) diversified non-electric utilization of new energy. Corresponding policy measures are proposed for each area. Notably, to accelerate multidimensional integrated development of new energy, the Opinions introduce the measures to enhance complementary development among different types of new energy, strengthen intensive and composite utilization of spatial resources for new energy development, promote cross-sector integrated development of distributed new energy, and advance integrated and aggregated operation for new energy.
