The National Health Commission (NHC) and five other departments jointly issued the Several Measures for Enhancing the Sense of Fulfilment in Family Doctor Contracted Services (the "Measures").
The Measures, upon considering both the general population and key groups, identify 10 measures in three areas to enhance the sense of fulfilment in contracted services. Notably, to improve the sense of fulfilment in contracted services for the general population, the Measures further clarify five initiatives: (1) improving the accessibility and convenience of contracted services; (2) establishing and improving a long-term mechanism for doctors from urban hospitals to participate in contracted services, and implementing and improving the remuneration and income compensation mechanisms for physicians from various medical and health institutions who participate in contracted services; (3) regularly disseminating health information and providing personalized health guidance and education; (4) strengthening appointment and referral services, providing residents with services such as appointment, referral, examination and test, and hospitalization; and (5) advancing community-based contracted services by collaborating with village (community) public health committees, clinics, and other entities and extensively carrying out campaigns for family doctors to "deliver services in communities".
